My name is Janie Miller. My husband (30+ years) and I both have lived in or around the Austin area for most of our lives, and our families before us. We have watched it change from a small town in the 1960"s, into a major city of the new millenium. While not always agreeing with the changes, this is our home. We have raised two daughters here and they both live in the Austin area. Now our grandson is being raised here also. The Austin and surrounding areas are rich in history and culture, also in lakes, parks, wildlife and natural history. This is a wonderful place to raise a family, as there is always something happening around the area for the very young or the older crowd or some-where in the middle. Maybe all at the same time. I apologize for not having sent this to you sooner but I have been quite busy with the move, new job and the everyday list of things to do that never goes away.
I want to thank you for all your help when I came down to Austin last March. I had done my homework spending countless hours on the Internet looking at houses. The houses looked great, right price, almost new with the features I wanted. What a rude awakening! Pictures definitely don't tell the whole story. As I did my house searching on the internet I happened to find the ad for Sky Realty and I contacted you about my search. It turned out to be a blessing. I was very impressed with how prompt you were in returning my phone calls and e-mails and when I finally arrived in Austin and met you in person you proved to be the BEST realtor I've dealt with. I lost count of the number of houses you showed me. I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said 30 in a three day span.
By the third day I was very frustrated and in tears when you picked me up to go look at some more houses. I was flying back home that evening and I still hadn't found the right house. The fact that I'm the most indecisive person on this planet didn't help.
That evening you drove me to the airport and by then I had some solid prospects to think about. A couple of days later I had finally made a decision and you made it happen for us.
The movers brought our furniture in Mid April. That evening, late at night we arrived to our new home to find a bed that needed to be made and countless boxes to be unpacked. What a nice surprise to find someone had cared enough to leave us bottled water, snacks, toilet paper, towels even toys for our dogs!!!
I learned that finding the right house that will become your "Home" for a number of years is no easy task and I couldn't have done it without you.
I will recommend you over and over and you can use me as a reference anytime.
