Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make.  There is a lot involved in buying from the time you first see the home until the time you move in that last box.  I will take you through the whole process; negotiation, inspection, choosing a good attorney and lender, even finding a good mover.

In selling a home, I'll constantly check the competition, watch the price adjustments, make sure you're on as many websites as possible for 24/7 viewing, monitor the hits on those websites, etc. Together we'll prepare the home to show it in the best light possible.  We'll get feedback from the public so we can make changes, if necessary.

There are several things that you, as a seller or buyer, can do to prepare for the purchase/sale of your home.

Sellers:

• A fresh coat of paint, oftentimes, makes a huge difference in how a room looks (preferably in earthtone colors.)
• If the exterior has any peeling paint, you'll want to scrape it away and re-paint.  If buyers don't care for the outside, they may not go inside.
• A professional cleaning is a good idea to make the house sparkle!
• If there are any leaks because of the roof, get it repaired.
• Waterproof the basement, if necessary.
• Make sure bathrooms are clean and uncluttered.
• If carpet is stained, you may want to consider replacing it.
• Wash down hardwood floors with cool water with a splash of vinegar to leave them showing their best.
• Keep furnace and air conditioner in top condition with an annual cleaning.
• Make sure landscaping is free from excessive and overgrown weeds.
• Keep front walkways shoveled during the winter months
• Consider a home warranty. . . it avoids some major headaches.

Buyers:

• In today's market, it is important to have someone strong in your corner who is knowledgeable and professional.  That's why you need me on your team.
• Get your ducks in a row.  Talk to a mortgage broker or lender. 
• If credit is an issue, spend 6 months to a year working diligently to bring up your score.
• Once you find the house of your dreams, get a pre-approval and, together, we'll sit down, and step by step, we'll go through the contract.
• Once accepted, I'll take you through the process through to closing.
• Then, we'll celebrate!
