Welcome to my profile and blog here on activerain. I'm the COO at MyFrontSteps.com, a new company building social tools for homeowners and home services. In my former life, I was at Point2 Technologies for 51/2 years. I left my role there in December 2007 as VP Strategy and Business Development. VendAsta Technologies (the parent of MyFrontSteps) was formed in January 2008. In August of 2008, we closed a $3million first round of funding for MyFrontSteps and we've had our heads down working our butts of ever since.
Our first application for home owners will be launching in March of 2009. If you are a real estate professional or provide any type of home service, try our free online reputation management tool, StepRep. it will help you monitor things being said about you online. It looks into places that Google Alerts does not look like twitter. It allows you to catalogue 3rd party references you find and then promote them online. This will help the best references about you show up higher in search whenever someone 'Googles' your name or your company's name.
