Serving the needs of home buyers and sellers in the West and Northwest Suburbs for nearly 3 decades. From first time homeowners to empty-nesters, zeroing in on the client's priorities is Goal #1.
What we do & Where we do it:
The decisions surrounding a move, I've found over the years, are generally complex. Even when the move is for "positive" reasons...a job promotion, a wedding, expanding family, etc., most people have mixed emotions. Yes, they want to move, but how much can they "really" afford (not just what the lender says, what does their pocketbook say!), will they be able to find something that "feels" like home to them, will their current home sell in time for their move and will they have enough money to close on their new place, how will the kids adjust, etc. These thoughts engender all sorts of emotions as well.
Of course it's important, when deciding whether or not to work with an agent...and then deciding WHICH agent is best for servicing your needs...to find one that is skilled in a variety of areas that are important for your successfull move....things like market knowledge, marketing skills, negotiating strategies, utilizing all the great technology tools that provide MEANINGFUL benefit for the client, understanding of all the paperwork involved, etc. However, over the more than two decades that I've served in this industry, the one thing that people seem to MOST appreciate is that LISTENING TO THEIR NEEDS & PRIORITIES has always been a top priority to me. I've always believed that, in order to help a client come to the best decisions for THEMSELVES, I must understand what is important to them!

It's been very clear that our industry is desperate need of an overhaul. The vast majority of agents are pretty much doing business the way it's been done for decades. However, the consumer is challenging that approach. They challenge it every time they put up a FSBO sign, every time they sign a "quick fix" agreement disguised as "choice", but really offering "cheap" (though in reality the COST generally far exceeds the Price!). Recognizing that there IS a need out there for the consumer to have LEGITIMATE choices in the services they want, as well as in how they want to pay for them, I've added Real Estate Consulting (as an ACRE Consultant) to the services I offer.
What that boils down to is quite simple. If a client or customer has needs other than those satisfied by the traditional "commission-paid-after-close", I can generally provide those services. Often I find that people "think" they want something different, but once they understand what they are REALLY paying for when they work with an agent in the traditional way (what they are paying for is INSURANCE, it's DEFERRED RISK, it's their safety net in case the house doesn't sell) they still often choose to go that route. The difference is I give them OPTIONS, and I give them TRANSPARENCY which enables them to become, not just better informed, but also better participants in the process.
"Exemplary customer service!!!"
"I would like to take this opportunity to commend you for your exemplary customer service. I was most impressed with the fact that you did not hesitate to provide me with all the options available to me, including those that were clearly not in your own best interest. You always went the extra mile to guarantee my satisfaction. Please know that I would not hesitate to refer you to others with the utmost confidence that you will provide them with the same quality service that you demonstrated on my behalf" ..... "recommend you in the highest terms"
"Your efforts as our agent made the preparation for market and the sale of my late brother's home as smooth as we could have ever dreamed possible, and made my work as estate administrator so much easier to accomplish. From the beginning you were sensitive to the distances and time limitations that my family and I were facing, and you responded with what I know was an extra measure of your time, sweat, and expertise. Your thorough knowledge of the local market and its pricing history was reassuring to us, and your judgments about the necessary upgrades we needed to make to the property were solidly on-target in every case. You helped put us in touch with nearby vendors who could get them done in a timely way, keeping us on-task and in touch with every step in the whole process. All of these factors were key to the quick sale we realized, and to the comfortable match of price, property, and buyer I think we achieved. Please be assured that we will not hesitate to recommend you in the highest terms to any and all prospective customers we meet" .....Ed & Katy Hansen
"recommend you without hesitation!"
"Our first time selling a home was an intimidating proposition (with a contract on another home), we certainly had to sell fast, for the right price. Thank goodness you came along! You were so helpful, with suggestions on home improvements, pricing of the home (keeping in mind the delicate balance of our timing and pricing needs), and getting it sold in just two days! Surprisingly, that was really just the beginning! You were so accessible, and professional, and your experience really made a difference. We would recommend you without hesitation!".....Barbara & Pete Lewis
"responsive, professional, and thorough"
"Our decision to move was a difficult one, and it was important to us to find a Realtor who would be sensitive to our situation, our timeframe, and our "bottom-line". Judi was all of the above!!!! She provided marketing materials that beautifully showcased our home, and her negotiating skills enabled us to get a price much higher than we had hoped!!! From listing to closing we found Judi responsive, professional, and thorough, making our move so much the easier on us. We enthusiastically recommend her services to anyone planning a move" .....Antonio & Tina Ingles
