Now about the other me;                   

First let me say      I LOVE PENNSYLVANIA!
     Being a full time agent requires a full time commitment.
Those precious times that I can squeeze to be only mine, are spent with my daughter and son-in-law and the the best "Little King " of our family, my 6 year old grandson.
     They reside  in Penn State College area  another one of Pennsylvania beautiful places to live ( and there are many) It is just four short hour drive on Rt 80 .We all love  the Penn State area.       

Our home is in the country and  overlooks the city of New   Castle. . I love the tranquility of country living.

    It doesn't take long to realize that families are a big part of who you are and what you become.  Blessed are we who hold wonderful memories and are gifted with the  love of a family. They are the best part of MY life.

Before I became part of " The wonderful World of real estate"
    I was the resident artist for the Hummel Gift shop,  one of Ohio's largest gift shops. I dressed & designed clothes for antique dolls ( hundreds of them )

I also created all  the replica, antique, porcelain dolls for that wonderful shop 

I owned and operated  " The  Treasure Basket".  My shop specialized in gift baskets and handcrafted gifts and my other love ,eggs.                                     

Yes I am an egg-er. Now for those of you who do not know, .  ( an egg-er is NOT some-one who throw eggs) I googled egg bloggers and that is what was listed.
    I still , in my limited spare time, love doing the eggs.  They are Faberge style real eggs. intricately cut with a high speed dental tool, decorated with crystals, beads,and gold  filigree.  One of my Faberge style eggs was presented to Pennsylvania Governor Casey's wife. This was such an honor for me.

Even though now my egging has become very limited. I still enjoy the art..

                                            Welcome to New CAstle, Pa

                Relaxing urban lifestyle- Rich in Tradition-and Charm

                  We have a beautiful renovated downtown area.

    There is  excitement in Lawrence County about the new Harness Race Track complex on Rt 224- 15 minutes from New Castle.     Location is the Key and we are 1 hour from Pittsburgh- 35 minutes to the Pittsburgh airport,54 miles to downtown Pittsburgh and minutes to the Ohio and Pa turnpikes. There are plenty of freeways to get you where you are going.
    The city of New Castle was founded in 1798, immigrants from all over southern Europe created  the rich diversity and heritage that make up this small town.               The area is surrounded with natural beauty. The downtown has a Victorian flair, the main street and most of the side streets are lined with Victorian style lamp post and small ornamental flowering trees. Hanging flower baskets adorn all the lamp post. The downtown has been extensively renovated. and is still a work in progress.The town certainly has put on a new look. The traditional integrity of the city is everywhere.    The down town is dotted with shops but like in most cities the major larger stores are in the townships. 

    The landscape of the downtown has beautiful buildings that create the landmarks of the  city.

     The New Castle Court House and the Scottish Rite Cathedral are both on a hill above the city. They tower above the skyline but  we have no sky scrapers here. We

just have wonderful old buildings with tons of history.
