About Us:
Bloom Again Interior Design & Staging, was founded in 2005 by Katen Karlten. It is a full- service interior design and staging company, located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Philosophy
Katen’s design approach is to combine beauty and functionality with environmental sustainability. She believes in recycling and refurbishing materials whenever possible to bring new life to a used piece of furniture or an old space, hence, the name of her company, Bloom Again Interior Design and Staging. This winning philosophy is a boost for her clients as it minimizes waste and reduces unnecessary cost, while still achieving the client’s unique design personality.
“As a young girl, I always thought how I can make something new from something old. As an adult, I watched building materials being thrown away and that just didn’t sit well with me. I decided that I needed to be on the design side of a project to promote being environmentally responsible and yet create beauty at the same time.”
