Description
Realtor since 79, have also been a stockbroker, appraisor, business owner and singer/songwriter. Am working towards my CCIM, 90% Commercial,10%residential. Like Short Sales, Analysis.

About Us:

Use this section to write about yourself - don't be shy - Why should a buyer or seller want to work with you? Do you have any certifications and qualificatons? What sets you apart from other agents/loan officers?

Let's see:  I'm old.  Been around. A lot.  Know stuff.  Know what I don't know, and where to find out the answers.  Like people, mostly.    Love teaching people about Real Estate, should probably have been a teacher, my two daughters ARE teachers and I'm doggone proud of them.    Really like investment, love to get hold of young people and get them into their first house and rental.  Usually, from there, they just take off.    Am now having a great time with Commercial Real Estate.  It's a lot of analysis, more just plain work, but fun, and satisfying.    You never stop learning in Real Estate, but you have to learn it faster in Commercial.

I am working on getting my CCIM designation, which is both evaluation, classroom and performance based.    It is the single toughest goal I have ever set out to do, but  loving every minute of it.

My biggest asset, besides my ability to understnd the math, is my ability to listen.  I can usually understand what people really  want and need about the time they figure it out, and many times before they do.

I also like to work hard.   And a lot of this job is just that.

But mostly, I love my independance.  I run a business,my own, that is exactly as I want it to be.  In the process, I meet many interesting people, get to know them  , provide an important service, and do it well.  I like doing a job well. It's satisfying.

Areas of Expertise

Use this section to write about your specific area's of expertise. Do you specialize in first time buyers - listing high end homes - etc. Are there specific market area's that you specialize in? The more you write about your area's of expertise the more knowledgeable you'll sound to a potential buyer or seller.

Waterfront, especially saltwaterfront.   Investment property.  Commercial, including industrial, office, multifamily, for use or investment.   I like to compare a proposed purchase to other investment vehicles, including stocks, bonds and commodities, to see if it makes sense for the client at the time.  Sometimes it doesn't.  Usually it does.

I find or market property, provide the data that enables a buyer/seller to make  decisions.

I also do Short Sales.  When a person is heading towards foreclosure, and are "upside down" I can sometimes negotiate with the bank and enable them to sell with the least amount of damage possible to their credit.  It is true that it takes many, many hours, and the ability to ovecome problems patiently, but if can help a deserving person at a very difficult time, it is satisfying.

I am always willing to look at a case to see if a

Short Sale process is possible.
