Hi!  I'm Kathy Jackson and I've been a Realtor for the past 16.5 years in Washtenaw County with the Edward Surovell Company.  I've been enjoying the real estate business for all of these years and especially enjoy helping people achieve their goals of buying or selling a home.  Selling real estate is a great job because of the chance to meet some wonderful people and the wide variety of work that is involved with the process.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Purdue University and past experience in the television industry as well as marketing experience with Home Box Office in Chicago. 

I've lived in the Ann Arbor area for the past 20 years and, specifically, the Dexter area for the past 12 years.  I just love the charm of the town as well as all of the wonderful metro parks and state parks in the area!

I love helping new home buyers find their dream home by spending time talking with them about what they are seeking, showing them different houses and connecting them to a good local lender who can find the right loan for them.

 Helping clients with the home selling process is also a very enjoyable part of the work I do.  In this particular market, it takes much more than just the mls service to sell a home.  It takes expertise advice on the market, making connections with buyers and agents, taking great pictures, writing interesting ad copy and descriptions, showcasing the home in its' best light with staging and much more!
