About Kelley

Being a native and lifelong resident of the area, I know it inside and out.  I was born at Marin General Hospital, I've gone through the school system, shopped at the grocery stores, gone to movies at the theaters, dined at the restaurants, waded in the ocean, hiked the trails, crossed the bridges, voted at the polls... you name it.

Not only do I really know just about everything about the area, I have a network of trusted service providers that can supplement your needs with expertise that I don't personally have. 

Something that makes me different than many agents is that I actually have been known to recommend that my clients not buy or sell a home because I feel that it won't be right for them for one reason or another--even if it means that I don't get a paycheck.  While feeding myself and paying my mortgage is important, the investment and return on investment for my clients is important too.  So, if it's not right for you, it's not going to happen with me.

Whether you are buying or selling, it is going to be an important, emotional, financial and life changing experience.  And I've got your back.

On a strictly personal note:

The environment is a huge concern, therefore I recycle, and throughout my home there are energy saving devices and methods in place.  I walk or ride my bicycle when possible or practical.  I have a soft spot for the elderly and animals, with a particular fondness for dogs.  I believe in, and enjoy, performing random acts of kindness and doing the right thing.  I'm not afraid to ask pointed questions, give straight answers, or be there to hold your hand or change your diapers if you are dying.  To be a good conversationalist, you have to listen.

Rather than focusing on one neighborhood or a price range, I focus on what is important and what will work for my clients.  Every situation is unique, and people's needs are different--and those change throughout our lives.

I have helped people with all types of homes, from entry level condos in Petaluma, to one of a kind Tiburon Estates with acreage and spectacular views from Mount Tamalpais, to the entire Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Skyline, Angel Island, Racoon Straits and the East Bay.

Whether buying or selling, I will help from start to finish, from disclosures to due diligence, making sure all your needs are met and liability minimized.  After all, where there is a lot of money at stake, there is liability.  You have to make sure that all the bases are covered before, during and after the close of escrow.

Hello. This is Aaron.  Haven't spoken to you in a while.  Hope all is well.

 

Nice web-site. Useful indeed.  If I may add a friendly advice:  Your web-site is very good.  When one looks at it, it does give an impression that you know what you are doing.  For a more experienced buyer / seller however, one likes to get a good service, not just a smart person.  Why? Because frankly a lot of real estate agents look for their own end and not always that of the client's and an experienced buyer or seller learns that (regardless of what is signed). From what I have experienced I see the value of an agent who really spends some time with you and makes sure you get the best deal whether you are buying or selling.  That Kelley is what is special about you and not all agents have it (in fact most do not and let's not even talk about the dishonest ones that I have dealt with).  So my suggestion is advertise what you have a little more. 

 

On the same note, when you came and saw me the first time, you did mention this attribute which you had, and at the time I either did not know you well enough or did not value it as much (I thought sure they all pay attention to you - not really true.  But I went along with you because your background checked out plus I felt you were sincere - trust really matters)...  The point is that a more inexperienced person doesn't quite get it.  He or she thinks that why you make 3% or 6% of say a house for 500,000, then the agent better be spending all of her effort on me.  A fair expectation maybe, but not true in reality.  Your advantage is that you take on fewer clients which allows you to provide a better service.  That makes you a bit of specialist in this field. 

 

Anyhow, I should not give you too much advice, you may become so popular, there won't be any time for me !!!
