Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Kelly McLaughlin and I am a REALTOR with MKB REALTORS, in Roanoke Virginia.  My husband and I currently live in the Trinity area of Botetourt County but have been residents in the Roanoke Valley since 1962.  I was born in New Jersey but was a "navy brat" so I lived all up and down the East Coast with my parents.  I attended Madison College (now JMU) in Harrisonburg and then came to Roanoke to attend nursing school at the old Lewis-Gale Hospital.  I met my husband Paul a few years later while working at GE (he was an Electrical Engineer).  My husband and I spent 2 years living in Beijing, PRC with his work.  I worked for the Australian Embassy during this time period.  We have "grown children" and a son-in-law, all currently in the Baltimore area. I have always loved animals and we live with and show Newfoundland dogs.

I specialize in residential homes in all price ranges but I seem to do most of my sales in what we call "naked in the back yard" homes - these have a little acreage or are private in the rear.  I have sold homes from $19,000 to $1,700,000. 

I work frequently with relocation companies and am on the "A" team.  For buyers with polite canines, your dogs are welcome to ride along for the home search although, they may not go into the homes.

I cover all price ranges and am both a buyer or a sellers agent.  I strive for client satisfaction and am generally noted for a laid back approach and patience.  I feel buyers need to proceed at a pace they are comfortable with and have worked with some buyer clients for a number of years before we have found the perfec home for them.  As a sellers agent I generally get the listing sold in a much shorter period of time that the average for the area.
