Description
Johnson City Tennessee Real Estate: Some of the most affordable homes and beautiful land in the U.S. Come visit and you'll see why and then call us to help you find your new home.

It's All About You and a little about us...

It's All About You:

While it would be great to say that we have 50 listings and are actively working with 20 buyers, we would never let that happen because we would be spreading ourselves too thin and that wouldn't be fair to our clients. We like to work with a handful of buyers and sellers so we can devote quality time to each of them to help them obtain their real estate goals.

Our clients' needs and wants always come before ours and we always have their best interests at heart. We also feel it's important to work with both buyers AND sellers so we can experience and understand both sides, which helps us be more valuable Realtors to the side we're working with.

and a little about us...

We Like To Work With....

Sellers: We enjoy the challenge of helping our clients sell their homes during these trying times and while it is often frustrating, it is also very satisfying when we know that our hard work and marketing efforts have allowed us to place a SOLD sign over a For Sale sign. We also help our sellers find local people to assist with getting their houses ready to sell such as painters, roofers, handymen, lawn mowers, etc. so the home-selling process is not so daunting.

Kelsey has a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing and she's not afraid to use them! Marne has years of customer service experience and makes sure we utilize her skills to our clients' full advantage. We follow our own 10-Step Marketing Plan (actually 11 Steps but 10 Steps sounds better) to get our listings sold. We have a variety of ideas that we put into action and we are very organized and great with details. We answer our phones 99% of the time and return phone calls and emails promptly. We do not have other jobs (except raising our children and volunteering at their schools and the like) so we spend our days getting our houses SOLD!

Buyers: We have worked with quite a few first time home buyers and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience with each one, although many have provided us with a challenge or two. We also have the pleasure of helping many people relocate from out of town, and out of state, and we absolutely love introducing them to our neck of the woods and helping them find a great home. We also help them find local lenders, home inspectors, title companies, handymen, etc. so the home-buying process is not so daunting.

Investors: We are tenacious about sleuthing out investment properties for our clients. There are tons of investment opportunities here in E. Tennessee because of the many colleges and the medical community. If you're looking for an investment property to rent out or to fix up and sell down the road, there are many options here with new listings coming up almost every day.

What Our Clients Say About Us...

Kelsey Barklow

• "Mrs. Barklow is well-organized, technologically savvy, and attends to every detail in the selling of our home. Importantly, Kelsey is personable and demonstrates the highest ethics in her profession. We recommend her entirely." - A Seller

 • "Kelsey Barklow was of huge help to me in purchasing my first home. She was available at all times of day, and was willing to go above and beyond to assist me in my purchase. Kelsey has a gift at being knowledgeable and accommodating without being pushy. I really appreciated the time she invested with me in helping me find my perfect new home." - A Buyer

 • "First, without hesitation, I must say that you are the hardest working realtor I have ever met.  Thank you so much for all the time, effort, professionalism and hard-working dedication you gave to me as your client after listing my condo with you.  You went above and beyond to do all you could to get my property sold in a professional and very timely manner.  Not only did you check on it often to make sure it was presentable at all times, but you also did several open houses with lots of advertising to get as many as possible to come and see it.  Thanks again for a real success story and for being so dedicated to your work.  I will gladly refer all of my friends and family to you and would use you again as my realtor in the future if the opportunity arises." - A Seller

• "I accepted a job in Johnson City and planned on relocating from Washington DC to a rental. Kelsey did a fantastic job in giving me a tour of the area, highlighting the various communities and housing options.  I had planned on renting for the first year, but I found a house and fell in love with it. Kelsey went above and beyond in helping me to realize my dream of buying this house.  Buying a house long distance can be a nightmare, but Kelsey was there every step of the way from making that offer, to the closing. She made sure all the details were taken care of. No home purchase can without glitches, and mine was the day I was moving down. I discovered that I would have to stay in a hotel for three days. Not an easy task to accomplish with a dog and a parrot. But while I did the seven hour drive down, Kelsey helped me to find a hotel that would accept pets and then get utilities turned on at the house. There wasn't any detail too small or too insignificant that Kelsey didn't help me resolve.

I highly recommend Kelsey to anyone looking to purchase a home, especially first time buyers. She is knowledgeable and very caring.  She is more than a Realtor, she is a caring person who is committed to her clients. She helped me realize my dream of this house and that was no easy task." - A Buyer

• "We feel lucky to have Kelsey Barklow as our Realtor and friend. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. We are first-time home owners, and she really went the extra mile to walk us through the process and help us find the perfect home. She is always very accessible, and there was never an issue too big or too small for her to handle. She has been a wonderful asset to us during this process; we never felt overwhelmed or uninformed. Additionally, Kelsey is a wonderful, intelligent person with a great personality and a wonderful heart.  When Kelsey is your Realtor, you truly are in capable, caring hands." - A Buyer

Marne Drinnon

• "Before our move Marne communicated such helpful information about the area as well as specific properties. When we actually came to look at houses, Marne made our time here one of the top priorities in her schedule. We were able to see so many listings in the short time we were here. Her invaluable help allowed us to narrow down the possibilities and make a purchase that really fits our needs." - A Buyer

• "We recently relocated from Florida to Johnson City. Marne Drinnon was our Crye-Leike agent. She was such a help in so many ways. Her assistance made our transaction so much easier." - A Buyer

• "Marne actually brought the condos at Boones Creek to our attention. We are so thankful for that. Things were a little bumpy just before closing. Marne handled the problems professionally and was able to find solutions quickly." - A Buyer

• "A few days after closing Marne went "above the call of duty" by helping us when our car broke down and we found ourselves stranded. It is a difficult thing when moving to a new area. Marne made us feel that we had not only an agent but also a friend. She is an asset to your company and to the community. Sincerely, DP." - A Buyer
