My Wife (Lisa) and I are a Realtor team with RE/MAX UNITED in Cary, NC.  After 9 moves during our first 18 years of marriage(Blacksburg, VA; Lynchburg, VA (2 X's); Richmond, VA; Columbia, MD; Cary, NC; Gulf Breeze, FL; Alpharetta, GA; San Diego, CA, Lisa and I declared our independence from corporate life in 1997 and moved back to Richmond, VA.  Our oldest (of 4) child was preparing to enter high school and we had always said we would not move our children during their high school years. 

After 7 years of self-employment in Richmond, VA (Lisa as a Registered Dietitian Consultant and me buying/operating/selling a chain of convenience stores, service stations, and fast food outlets) and after our 2nd of 4 children graduated high school, we moved to our favorite town of all our previous relocations - CARY, NORTH CAROLINA!  We've always loved Cary and the Triangle Area because of the friendly people, great schools, great climate, and proximity to the beach, mountains, our families, and ACC universities.  What a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family!

Lisa joked that she could write a book about how to (and how not to) smoothly relocate with children, but instead obtained her real estate license in order to directly help people with one of life's most stressful events - Buying/Selling a home and moving!  A little over a year later, I earned my Brokers License and we joined RE/MAX as a team.  The last time Lisa and I worked together was as cashiers at a 7-Eleven store while we were engaged and attending Virginia Tech in 1980.  While we've both changed a great deal in 27 years of marriage, working a job together hasn't gotten any easier!

I focus on Listings in the Triangle and work with Home Sellers to make sure their home is priced right and effectively marketed on the Internet, in local print media, and with all the local Realtors and relocation companies.  We've listed and sold properties in Cary, Raleigh, Fuquay-Varina, and Durham from townhomes & condos priced in the $90,000's to luxury homes in the $500,000's.  I also have a background in commercial real estate - buying, selling, and leasing convenience stores, truck stops, service stations, and fast food restaurants and leasing small office space.

 Lisa works primarily with Home Buyers in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Morrisville, Raleigh, Garner, and Chapel Hill.  We help 1st time Home Buyers through every step of the process from mortgage prequalification; finding the right home; contract offer, negotiation, and acceptance; closing & understanding the HUD-1 statement; contacting utilities & moving in; to finding local schools, shopping, doctors, and local entertainment. 

We also serve many families relocating to the Triangle and working in RTP.  Most of these clients are experienced Home Buyers looking for Executive Homes in the $300,000 to $600,000 price range.
