Ken Jansen was our Listing Agent for selling our home in Shawnee, KS. He was in charge of actively marketing our home to the Kansas City marketplace. Ken also coached us on the ''rules'' of a real estate and marketing a home. Ken Jansen is a very professional Real Estate Agent. He has a very good knowledge of the Kansas City real estate market. Despite having lived in the Kansas City metro area in the past, we were surprised to see how much had changed when we decided to return in early 2005. One of our first major decisions, and quite possibly one of the most important, involved selecting Ken Jansen to represent us as we searched for a home. Throughout our very first conversation with Ken, my wife and I got the feeling that he was sincerely interested in working on our behalf and would listen intently even when we seemed to ramble senselessly. After ironing out the preliminary details we decided it was time to look at several potential houses.
Understanding that we had both recently started new jobs, Ken worked hard to setup appointments that fit within our busy schedule. Our search began to narrow after we had looked at a number of properties. In doing so, we quickly came to realize that many of the houses that we liked did not remain on the market for an extended period of time.
