How did I end up in this biz anyway?
We moved to Jacksonville from Upstate New York several years ago with the intent that I would complete a degree in counseling. Something I have always had a heart and a knack for. However shortly after arriving my husband and I decided that we would give real estate a shot so I went ahead and got my real etate license. While my husband positioned himself to be my biggest fan!
It's been a wild ride from the begining. From the very first year I was top producer for my company Vanguard Realty. How you may ask? Old fashioned hard work, networking with fellow professionals and most importantly remembering that if my customers had a remarkable experience they would refer me to friends and family. Working for Vanguard Realty has and continues to be a wonderful experience as well because from a company level they "get it". Whether it's agent support or customer service they are johnny on the spot!
One thing I have learned with the complexity of today's real estate market, it is imperative that 
each customer require integrity, competence and professionalism from their real estate agent. A customer's choice of representation could dramatically influence marketing time as well as the outcome of their sale. In most cases, it will even affect the sales price of the home. Over the years, I have been helping people to accomplish their goals and achieve their dreams. I have had the opportunity to help people change their lives and secure their futures. Which is profound and humbling.
When choosing a real estate agent, the customer should keep in mind that they are actually choosing a "business partner" to handle the most delicate of their affairs. That "partner" should be a person of absolute integrity and should possess exceptional skills to market and negotiate on their behalf.
Some business professionals are concerned about being number one... My focus is on helping number one - the customer.

Specializing in residential real estate I have several Team members that are knowledgeable about specific areas in Northeast Florida. By having several team members we make sure our customers needs are met. With Jacksonville and the greater area covering so many square miles it would be remiss to think that each of us could specialize in the entire area.
We do however specialize in planned communities including golf, gated, PUD's, family, retirement and boating. Jacksonville offers so many lifestyles. That's one of the things that makes being in real estate here so exciting!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you with my "Thanks" for more than a job well done. As usual, my days are busy and I have been doing the traveling thing on and off for almost a month.
The last ten days or so I've been home and have really attacked all the boxes in the new house with some success. The house I would say is now livable and the more I'm here, the better I like it. It's a great neighborhood, quiet and serene in its own way. Biggest obstacle is all the golf carts traveling around.
