- In Today's Real Estate Market There Is No Such Thing As A Bad Day, Only Good Days & Better Days. I'm Creative, Honest & I Genuinely Care, I Say I'm Different, My Clients Thank Me Because I'm Normal.
To Know Me / And Working With Me
I really like to have fun or add fun to everything I do, but when its time to be serious I can quickly and easily put on the business hat. I get to know people easily, the old saying I never meet a stranger is very try about me. I don't pretend to know it all, I don't and won't attempt to fake it or just wing it. I'll admit to you when I don't know something, and you can rest assured I will find out for you. I love to learn and the Real Estate business is a continous learning career. I feel very fortunate that Exit Grand Strand Properties provides excellant continuous training on different levels so that I have the opportunity to stay current with changes. I'm realistic, and I know that I can't be everything to all people and do a great job. Real Estate is a huge investment for most people and involves a chain of emotions. Knowing when to back off is extremely important, and being able to actually step into my clients shoe's is a gift. Communication is key to any good relationship and having the ability to really listen and to really hear is imperative. The Results are Priceless.
Having lived in Myrtle Beach for 25+ years is a huge benefit to clients that aren't really sure where they want to live. I have the patience to work with people that need help in deciding. I really enjoy getting to know my clients as people and have found that the results are usually very positive. Selling Real Estate and not people is a part of my business that I am very proud of. It is such a good feeling to receive a Thank You card or a Referral from a former client. It confirms that I am doing my job, and that is matching people with house's that they want to call Home.
Working With People, Buyers and Sellers
Today's market and market conditions presents a unique set of challenges for most Realtors. Being able to diversify my Real Estate business was not only a must but only makes sense. In a perfect world, I would have a twin, one to work with Buyers and one to work with Sellers. Since that's not an option, I work with both Buyers and Sellers, and I like both for their own reasons. Representing the Seller side allows me to use my creative side and marketing skills. Representing the Buyer allows me to use the people skills I've learned from a 20+ year background in the Hospitality Business.
As a Certified Real Estate Stager & Re-Design Specialist, I present added service for both sellers and buyers. Staging your home for sale has become almost a necessity in todays market. Staging highlights the home's best features and gives the rooms in your home a purpose, so that buyers don't have to try to figure it out. Being a Re-Designer benefits my buyers who may not be able to invision what something could be. I can help them to imagine a different color or a different furniture layout that they might other wise not have thought of.
Certification as a Professional Negotiator (CREN)-This is a new designation in Real Estate and the course was presented by Rich Castro, Real Estate Trainer. This was a powerful course designed to educate Realtor's of the Importance of being able to negotiate fairly and to never lose site that we are negotiating (or should be negotiating on behalf and in the best interest of our clients). Good Negotiators are not born good negotiators, they are Trained To Be Good. Bad Negotiating can Kill A Real Estate Deal and lead in a direction that I don't care to go. I have seen Realtors miss handle this part because they lose site, that its not about their ego, its about getting your client the best deal you can get with as little or no stress to the client or clients. After all Don't We All Want A Smooth Transaction? A Win Win can be the Positive Results of Both Realtors Being Good Negotiators.
Comments From My Clients
Hi Kimmie, I hope there are 3 signed pages attached to this e-mail. If not, let me know & I will try again. Thanks for all the info you provided. You have helped so much, without all your help and you being my POA purchasing a home long distance wouldn't have been possible. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty!!!!! Thanks. Sue
Hi Kimmie, Thanks again for all your help in getting me a house!! You said you knew someone that could look at the washer? Did XXX Mortgage ever get the trailer information from you? I never did hear back from them. Ralph gave my message to his wife, I think. I have lost her phone number. I still would like to check into getting a loan for the trailer. See you soon ( I'm busy packing!!) Sue
Hi Kimmie Lu, I didn't know you were still working with XXX Mortgage. I can't believe all the extra things you are doing for me!! Sue
Thanks for being normal Kimmie. Charles Henry
