How can I begin to thank you? I started to think that closing the short sale of my condo would require a miracle. When I listed the condo with you, you told me not to worry about a thing. We listed the condo and it finally closed 8 months later. I have to admit, I got a little nervous.

I found myself in a difficult situation last June when I realized I could not get my bank to modify my loan and I hadn't paid my mortgage for 6 months. There was no way I could come up with the $20,000 the bank requested from me to get my loan current, so either I was going to face foreclosure or I could try to short sale my home.
I quickly realized that if I wanted to get my home sold quickly, I needed to find an aggressive agent who could get the job done. The first person I thought of was Kim White. Everywhere I turned, I would see her advertisements in my neighborhood and I figured if she had that much of a presence in our community, she should be the perfect person for the job. As it turns out, I was right.
I called Kim on a Wednesday and asked her to explain to me what is involved in a short sale. She was very knowledgeable about the topic and explained to me how it would work. I asked her to come over the next day, Thursday, to take a look at my house so we can begin the sale process. By Friday, my home was listed on the market and 3 days later, we had 5 offers on the table.
Apparently, getting the offers in was actually the easy part of a short sale. Kim then worked diligently for the next 6 months with 2 banks to get the approvals for the short sale. She made sure to always stay on top of the public sale date of my home to get it postponed and she kept in close communication with the buyer's agent to ensure their continued interest. Without Kim's knowledge and experience, there may have been a different outcome. She always kept me informed and assured me she was on my side. We were able to close escrow successfully.
