About Us:
I am a seasoned mortgage broker with over 12 years in the industry. In 2006, Mike Harris & myself opened Magellan Mortgage. It was our intentions to build a business based on doing right by the client and making sure we put them in a better financial position. Our slogan is - "a promise is a promise" and we stand behind our commitments to borrowers and business partners.
I am a firm believer of full disclosure and communication. Most if not all issues that arise during a purchase transaction or a refinance are either issues that should have been dealt with up front, or are a result of a loan officer trying to play "hero" and do something or promise something he/she has no control over in hopes to impress. If you are a Realtor - know that your clients will fully understand the products available to them, fees associated with, and be treated very fairly. In the current market, communication has never been so important. It is amazing how smooth transactions go when all parties are in the loop and proper expectations are set up front.

Magellan Mortgage is a mortgage brokerage. We are signed up with many wholesale investors giving us the opportunity to shop the market for our clients and get them the best deal. Why apply w/ Lending Tree and have your credit pulled 4 separate times by online lenders that may or may not deliver? We take one application and can shop the entire market for you and your credit is pulled once. If through our investors we can not help you, or a refinance at that point does not make financial sense, we will tell you. There is no run around or loan done for the sake of a commission check. At Magellan Mortgage, we would rather be honest with you now and have you come back, than to take advantage of you and not help you on top of that. Again our business is build on long term relationships and referrals.
