Looking for Retail Space!

Second Chances Christian Bookstore is a vision God has given us and we are at the beginning of a wonderful journey. We are currently an online store ( most people would encourage us to keep it that way with smaller overhead ) but we have hopes, dreams and a divine promise that we will open a retail location in our hometown of Lehigh Acres, Florida. Gasp- yes we actually want to open a brick and mortar! We are walking in faith knowing God already has the location picked and will provide the funding for our ministry. And yes, more than a retail opportunity this is a ministry that brings me to tears when I imagine what good it can do in my community.

A Bit About Me

I have always dreamed of owning a bookstore, of living in between the shelves of exciting stories.Of curling up in the corner on an overstuffed sofa with my cup of mocha and a good read...As a child books were my great escape, I would pretend to be the characters in my favorite stories, I would imagine they were right there with me in my everyday life..And they truly were there in my eyes, holding me when I was frightened, laughing with me when I felt alone, giving me strength to face a very difficult childhood. I was limited back then to the books I "stole" from my father's study, and the ones I actually owned and read over and over again.

Now here I am! Look at me now! God has layed before me the perfect career where I would do the world the most good and serve him..I hope you continue to check in on my blog to see how things are progressing for "Second Chances"
