I am a native of Maine and was raised in the beautiful Kennebunks. I have been in the real estate industry since 1988 when my husband and I took a temporary job assignment in San Diego, California where we worked for a large real estate developer managing over 300 residential rental units. When we returned to Maine we established ourselves in South Portland and opened our own real estate property management company in Portland. The management company's main focus was multi-family homes, investment condominium units and condominium association management. In managing several Greater Portland condominium associations through the years, I gained a strong understanding of condominium Declarations and By-Laws, operating budgets, and daily operations. In 1990 I started selling real estate with a small and intimate real estate company in Portland focusing in the Greater Portland area and found it rewarding helping my Buyer and Seller clients achieve their real estate dreams. My network of experienced real estate professionals; mortgage brokers, local lenders, property inspectors and appraisers  help to make my clients home buying or selling experience smooth sailing. My network of satisfied clients has served as a base for my continued success year after year.   In 1997 I obtained my Florida real estate license and worked a winter season selling preconstruction townhomes for a developer in Key West, Florida. When not working with my real estate clients, I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my family which consists of my husband Scott and two sons, Benjamin age 15 and Brandon age 7, a Collie named Bailey and a Bichon Frise named Snowball.  We enjoy traveling and investigating new places together but our favorites include camping trips to Yogi Bear Park in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, fishing trips in Alaska, and winter escapes to Disneyworld in Florida. My E-Pro certification means that you get more information with less hassle. With electronic files, you have less paperwork to deal with. And where I use e-mail extensively, you can even eliminate phone tag. As an E-Pro I will streamline your entire transaction, from showing to closing. As a SRES - Seniors Real Estate Specialist, I have specialized training and resources available to serve the 50-and-over buyers and sellers and their unique needs. This includes everything from financing a new home to tax-saving strategies when you decide to sell your home. If you're a buyer, I can interpret all of the marketing "hype" for you so you don't have to waste your time looking at properties that are overmarketed and underqualified for your needs. I will help you to make sure that you don't overpay for the property you want. I  will be there to assist you throughout the entire process so everything goes smoothly for you. My goal is to make sure that the entire process is enjoyable for you, whether you are buying or selling a home. And of course I will provide you with the professional, personalized service that you deserve.
