I moved to Phoenix in 1958 and grew up witnessing the phenomenal growth of the Valley of The Sun!  After getting married in 1971, moved to Tempe in 1972 and was the second purchaser in the new Continental 6 subdivision where I lived on Sesame Street for 17 years.  I got my real estate license in September of 1987 and my family moved to The Lakes Tempe in November of 1988 where my home has been for the past 20 years!

I love being a Realtor and staying on top of my game!  My undergraduate degree is in Psychology and my disposition is to recognise the importance of relationships in the selling process.  Because of my love for education and being the best I can be I continue to take the courses and earn the designations that will help me best serve my clients.

My first year goal was to earn my GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) which I accomplished followed shortly thereafter by my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation of which only 5% of the Realtors nationwide receive.  I then Passed my Associate Broker exam and continued my real estate education by earning my e-PRO designation, my ABR(Accredited Buyers Advisory), my MRE (Masters of Real Estate) and RECES (Real Estate Cyberspace).  Although only required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years my average is 150 hours.  I believe that knowledge is power and I am better able to advise and negotiate for my clients by being the best informed I can be!

I also believe being the best possible Realtor includes choosing the best possible team of affiliates to make sure the entire selling/purchasing process is the best real estate experience my clients can have.  Over the years I believe I have surrounded myself with the best people in the industry.

My specific area of expertise is negotiation.  Therefore, I am comfortable with Buyers and Sellers in any price range.  Over my 20+ years in Real Estate I have helped many families and individuals across the valley successfully buy and sell land and homes.  I enjoy the satisfaction of helping people make their first real estate purchase and celebrate with them in acquiring the American Dream.  But I also truly am pleased by successfully negotiating the right price and terms to bringing about the successful transfer of ownership of a luxury home! 

Although I work primarily in the East Valley: Tempe, Scottsdale, Carefree, Paradise Valley, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek and Ahwatukee I also have conducted successful real estate transactions in Phoenix, Glendale, Peoria, Litchfield Park, Estrella Mountain Ranch and Buckeye.
