There are some people who are fortunate to work in a career they love. Hi! I am Annette Wiley, owner of Transitions Interiors, LLC and I abosolutely love what I do for a living! Put me in a room...any old room and before long I am mentally re-arranging furniture and re-hanging the art-work! I just can't seem to help it! Call it a curse, but I count it a blessing! Now I'm not a computer genius, an artist or even a terrific chef, but I do have an eye for design and I can easily give even the drabbest of rooms a new look! Whether I'm staging a home for the market or breathing new life into a dated living room, I am in my element!
My love for interior design has taken me down a couple of different paths. About 7 years ago I decided that Real Estate was the career for me. I was pleased with my successs as a Realtor, but I discovered it was not my passion. However my real estate success was a spring-board toward the real love of my life...Interior Design!
I am still a licensed Realtor in the Metro-Charleston area of South Carolina. I no longer represent clients in real estate transactions, but I keep my license active in order to keep up with the latest market trends & conditions so I can best serve my clients needing my staging services. In this current market the competition is brutal. My experience in Real Estate and Staging really assists Sellers as they compete for the interest of the coveted qualified Buyers. Staging works! That's the short of it and many Sellers are finding that out! The only complaint I get from my staging clients is, "I should have done this (staging) sooner!". Set the stage to sell and be the top choice on the Buyer's list!
Many of my design and redesign clients come to me because they are over-whelmed with the many areas of their homes needing decorating attention. I enjoy meeting with them and getting a sense of what makes them comfortable in their home and what seems to add stress. Sometimes it is a lack of organization or the need to coordinate colors and fabrics. Some clients have good ideas, but are afraid of change while others have an abundance of furnishings but no idea what to do with them! Whatever your decorating dilemmas may be I am confident we'll find the solution you are looking for!
