Prior to becoming a home inspector I owned and operated Cameo Construction Services. As a contractor, my specialities included: pest related work; sub-structure and foundation repair; siding repair and replacement; remodels and additions; restorations such as HUD 203K; crawl space drainage mitigation; and roofing. I was also a preferred contractor for Owens Corning Roofing products.
I received my formal inspection training and certification through Inspection Training Associates (ITA), a nationally accredited training facility. I later received certification through the American Institute of Inspectors (AII) and achieved their Senior Inspector designation. I chaired the AII Education Committee and served AII National as their President Elect and President.
After resigning from AII I joined the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), passed the National Home Inspectors Exam (NHIE) and am now certified by ASHI. I am in my tenth year of inspecting full time and have performed over 4000 inspections. My other credentials include:
