We picked Laura after reading the reviews of her on Zillow. We honestly could not have asked for better realtors than Laura and her husband John. They were always available to show us homes - weekends, late evenings etc. -, were incredibly prompt responding to emails/calls/texts, previewed homes for us (since we have two kids under two, it was especially considerate of them to do that. They knew exactly what we were looking for), gave us really great advice on properties, neighborhoods, school districts, mortgages etc. We always felt they had our best interest in mind and sincerely worked in that regard. The home we ended up purchasing wasn't even listed at the time we made an offer & it wouldn't have been possible without Laura's networking. And as a testament of their integrity, they never once pushed, suggested or encouraged us to make offers on homes - we never once felt pressured. I can't say enough about Laura and John. They make the home-buying experience so easy.
Thank you for assisting with the doc signing last Wednesday. I'm glad you told us that a resale agent can assist in a new home purchase as long as you are there with us on the first visit. Please rescind all offers extended to the short sale properties. I always believe that your first home is not your dream home. That said, we plan to live in the property for at least 3 years then sell it and get a new home with a backyard. I hope that when the time comes, you will continue to be there for us.
I have to be honest with you, I consulted with another Re/Max agent (he's been in the business for 4 years only) prior to us meeting. His information regarding "short sale" is so vague and that he strongly discourages anyone from pursuing such properties. He added that there is no guarantee that we will recover our money paid for deposit attached with the offer, especially when the lender decides to foreclose the home after submitting the offer. To us, it does not make any sense but we relied on that representation and considered him an authority with regards to certain real estate transactions.
Your view is completely opposite and favorable to us. I was not aware that you can put an offer without including a check for deposit (to open escrow). Simply put, escrow will not open unless there is acceptance, ultimately by the bank. The language you included "money will be deposited to the escrow account upon acceptance" is self explanatory. We were so impressed! Your experience and knowledge of the current market condition helped us overcome certain challenges in dealing with real estate transaction. Although we have decided not to pursue the "short sale" properties (Cory really like the property on Maplehurst Place), we have always kept you in mind. We are your customer for life!
We have recommended you to a very close friend who is deciding on selling a property in Victorville and buying a home closer to LA.

I placed my house on the market in w/ a realtor that was recommended by a friend. After 6 mo. of very little interest in the house & even less contact w/ the realtor, I decided to change realtors; feeling totally dismayed w/ the service I had received. After a bad experience, I was very hesitant to use someone I did not know, but John assured me there would be no hard sell, so I agreed to meet W/ them. From the start, Laura & John were totally professional. They both showed detailed knowledge of the housing industry & genuine interest in doing whatever it took to sell my house. Throughout the process I was kept constantly updated on both the housing market & I received regular updates on any interest in the house. They even helped re-arrange furniture to make the house more presentable & went to my home to water the plants & take mail in when I was away - that is just an example of the commitment that Laura and John have for their clients.My house sold in a month from being listed w/ Laura & all I can say it that I have absolutely no reservations in recommending them to anyone.
