Laura has resided in Sebring Florida with her husband and three children for the past 12 years. Previously Laura resided in Big Pine Key Florida with her family for 8 years. Laura has been married to her husband John for 20 years. Laura takes great pride in being a wife and mother; while maintaining a successful real estate career. Laura enjoys cooking in her spare time for her family and friends. Laura's other interests are cars, football, and photography. Laura is a devoted Miami Dolphins fan. Laura feels it is important to give back to her community. Laura has volunteered for the American Cancer Societys "Relay for Life." Laura also donates her time in assisting needy families to make sure that their children have a memorable Christmas holiday. Currently, working on assisting families in need to end hunger in Highlands County. This is very near and dear to my heart to make sure that children and families do not go hungry. We honestly don't know where to begin and how to thank you for all you did for us.
We were first very impressed with your professionalism, knowledge of your job and genuine warmth. Then we noticed how many ways and how many times you kept in touch with us. Even beautiful Christmas e-cards (my goodness!) You never stretched the truth and were always honest with us regarding the market situation. However in it all you helped us stay positive and hopeful. We quickly began to feel that we were in very capable hands.
But what came as a complete surprise was out of the professional relationship we felt like we have gained a friend, someone with whom we could laugh, talk, and at times even complain about the housing market.
Through it all, we always knew that you were working for us as well as all of your other clients. We never felt slighted. Even after we had a contract you continued to think about us by providing pointers for us as potential buyers. And the restaurant gift cards were icing on the cake - such a thoughtful gesture!

To Whom It May Concern,
The real estate industry is a stressful way to make a living, especailly when it comes to the tedious, always challenging, and generally frustrating process that accompanies the successful acquisition of land for medium sized residential communities.
But, over the course of time, it gives you considerable insight into the Realtor and other professionals you work with. Specifically, how they work under pressure, and whether or not they can maintain their focus, professionalism, and sense of humor, while making every attempt to accomodate the needs of their clients.
So, for me, writing this letter on behalf of Laura Higgins of Re/Max Realty Plus is a very easy task.
Laura has been the Realtor of Green Avon Park's initial two (2 land acquistions in Highlands County, Florida. Her awareness of land and product availability, pricing, and viability, combined with her significant involvement in community affairs, both professionally and personally, have helped Laura achieve considerable success and standing in the Highlands County Real Estate arena.
