About Me:

I am cheerful, value a sense of humor, enjoy helping people and have a strong sense of ethics. 

I have lived in the Seattle area most of my life.  I graduated with a degree in Business Administration.   The hobbies I currently enjoy are: spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading and investing.

My current project is to get the Washington State Legislature to pass a law similar to Katie's Law (www.katieslaw.org).

I consider myself a Real Estate Concierge and enjoy working with both buyers and sellers.  I pride myself in helping clients learn about the buying and selling process and taking as much stress off their shoulders as I can.

I have obtained my Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation.  This means I have demonstrated the necessary knowledge and expertise to counsel senior clients through major financial and lifestyle transitions involved in relocating, refinancing, or selling the family home.

I am currently working on obtaining my Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS) designation--that means I have taken the required number of CRS classes, closed the specified number of transactions and reached a specified production amount.  It is the highest professional designation awarded to Realtors in the residential sales field.  Less than 4 percent of all Realtors hold the CRS Designation.

When I work with buyers, I enjoy helping them find the home of their dreams at the best possible price in the location that is right for them.  Many clients are not sure where they want to be and it is my job to help them find the "RIGHT" fit.  This takes some time--it requires interviewing and listening to the client.  If the client is new to the area, I like to help them get as much information as they want.  My website www.lesliebloss.com has many helpful links for relocation folks.

For sellers, I simply want to get the home sold as quickly as possible at the best possible price so that they can get on with their life.  I like to give them tips as to what they can do to help sell their home.

"My wife and I recently successfully completed a home purchase through Leslie Bloss.  Throughout the entire process, we were extremely impressed by Leslie’s professionalism, attention to detail, follow-through, and friendliness.

We began looking for a home in October 2005.  Shortly thereafter I contacted Leslie regarding a listing we had some interest in.  She promptly supplied us with the details on it.  We had decided early on not to purchase until our existing home sold, which ended up taking over ten months.  Throughout this time, Leslie continued to send us pertinent listings weekly as they became available.  I think many realtors would have lost interest in us during this time, but Leslie did not, which really impressed us.

 Once we did sell, Leslie was fantastic in accommodating our somewhat irregular schedules in taking us to look at quite a few homes.  Once we selected a home, Leslie made invaluable suggestions as to how to frame our offer to maximize its chance of being accepted.  Then, throughout the escrow process, Leslie went above and beyond in making innumerable trips over to Redmond, often at a moment’s notice, to meet us or various inspectors at the home we were purchasing.  To cap it all off, when it became apparent that the hardwood floor in the home was going to need refinishing and repair, Leslie offered to toss in $3000 of her commission to help cover that cost!
