When I moved to Haymarket in 1999 with my husband and 3 daughters little did I know how the quaint area we had fallen in love with would grow. Located about 35 miles west of Washington, DC it is convenient to everything that Northern Virginia has to offer. While still maintaining it small town charm, Haymarket VA has grown and still keeps growing. There is always something to do here for young and old alike.
Our local Winery, The Winery at LaGrange is just minutes from home in Haymarket VA. Enjoy the lovely scenery of the Bull Run Mountains while deciding which of their award winning wines is your favorite. The owners have completely refurbished the Manor House and have built a new building for aging the wine. There is always something fun going on here.

Just down the road from the Winery is the soon to be opened Silver Lake Regional Park.

In addition, Haymarket VA has many golf courses to choose from, including Evergreen Country Club, Piedmont Club, Dominion Valley Country Club, Bull Run Country Club to name a few.

Haymarket VA is rich in history and cultural pursuits. Besides wineries & golfing, we are minute away from Manassas Battlefield and Civil War Trails. There are many opportunities for leisurely pursuits in the area for camping, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, skiing, skating, equestrian sport, and motor racing.

LIVING IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA
Northern Virginia is a growing region with a stable economy driven by government jobs, and continued business growth in both the public and private sector. This continual growth has resulted in a wide ranging choice of new homes. The area boasts some of the best schools in the nation, new roads and rapid development of shopping centers, restaurants, and recreational facilities. What isn't located within your neighborhood or subdivision, is a short distance away somewhere else in the county, in Tyson's Corner or possibly Washington, DC. Professional sports, major universities and a multitude of museums, historic sites, theater and world class entertainment at venues such as the Kennedy Center and the Nissan Pavilion are just a short traveling distance away via major highway systems.
Many areas of Northern Virginia still boast rural charm, small town living and country estates and horse farms. There are historic downtowns like Manassas, Alexandria, Fairfax, Fredericksburg and Leesburg surrounded by all of the modern amenities desired by today's suburban homeowners. There are also planned communities and towncenters such as Reston, Ashburn and South Riding. And throughout the area are many neighborhoods both established and newly developed with a wide range of housing options.
The entire Northern Virginia area is rich in history and cultural pursuits. There are wineries & vineyards, well maintained public parklands and community recreation centers. There are many leisure time options in the area for camping, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, skiing, skating, golfing, equestrian sport and motor racing.
Whatever your lifestyle, Northern Virginia can provide an option that will suit the way you want to live. My knowledge of the area will help you to identify which community is right for you.
What Are My Clients Saying About Me?
Hello Linda,
It seems like forever since we've talked or seen one another. I thought I would send you a status update. I am all moved out of the townhouse and moved in with my mom. Laura sent me an email to let me know that the hardwood floors and cabinets were in and she said that I'm going to love it. We stopped by the condo last week and she took me and mom in for a quick look and Laura was right I love it. I'm really excited and can't wait till September. However, Laura said that there is a possibility that the condo could be finished in late August. It's a little hard to believe that this is really happening. Thank you for your patience in working with me and more importantly for not letting me settle for something that we both know that ultimately I would not be happy with.
I hope things are well on your end and will keep you posted as we move ahead.

No internet in the new house yet, We are in and settled with a few boxes left to empty. I was a hard 2 days Thursday & Friday but I delivered the checks and got the keys and went straight to the house. Alex is riding the bus to school and loves the new place :-) Thanks so much for all of your help. If I could afford it you'd be getting a villa in Italy for all your help.
Thanks again and you will be the only Real Estate agent we recommend to anyone looking to buy a home. You're the best. God Bless You

Linda Coffey represented us as the buyers of our first home. Not only was she patient with us and our inexperience, but she went out of her way to explain legalities and intricacies as we filled out the contract for the house.
Linda had our best interests in mind throughout the whole process, and kept nothing from us. Linda made an effort to keep in good contact with us, and we were reminded about dates of interest way in advance so that we were always prepared for what was next.
Nothing is below Mrs. Coffey, as she was willing to help us out in any way she could to be sure that our house-buying experience was as good as it could be. And now, even after the purchase of the house is complete, she is available to use to answer any questions we have.

Ms. Coffey handled all of my real estate needs in a very professional and thorough manner. She processed all needed paperwork and handled all issues in a timely fashion, and there were more than a few issues with the closing. She also provided continued support after the closing when the previous owners did not do as they wree expected to do with needed home repairs.
I highly recommend her for anyone's real estate needs.
Sincerely,
~ Kevin M. Johnson
