I am writing to you to offer feedback about my experiences working with one of your real estate agents, Linda Edelwich.

My husband Guy and I began our search in November of 2006. At that time, my mother-in-law, Julie (a Coldwell Banker agent in New Jersey) researched agents in Connecticut for us. She came across Linda’s web page. Due to Linda’s state of the art website, it was easy for Julie to gain access about Linda and her services. Julie was impressed right off the bat. Then, after speaking with Linda, it only took a few minutes for Julie to be equally impressed with Linda in person as she was with her on paper!

Linda diligently followed up with us after her conversation with Julie. She listened carefully to our needs, and I knew right away that Linda and I would get along well. We were on the same wavelength. She was organized and on time for our meetings. She immediately got the gist of what we were looking for. She knew that we wanted a “no nonsense” search process in which we could quickly eliminate certain options, and she met our busy schedule by booking multiple showings in one day. Some days we spent morning until night together, and Linda never tired or dissuaded us to proceed with the search in the way that was most convenient for us. I always felt like I had Linda’s undivided attention. She respected our price range. Most importantly, she was extremely knowledgeable about the housing market.

We very quickly narrowed our search down to condominiums, and Linda must be Connecticut’s go-to person for the condo market. She was informative and made us feel really confident by knowing factual information off the top of her head such as specific details about each complex. When she wasn’t sure of an answer to our questions, she knew a go-to person to call immediately for an answer. She was a multi-tasking wiz, and made the process go smoothly for us.

When we finally found our dream home, we were caught in a multiply offer situation (leave it to Linda to scope out such a great find!!). Linda handled it with class and expertise; as glitches arose, she was assertive. In the end, she was complimented by the selling agent for her diplomatic nature, calm attitude, and professionalism. Most importantly, we ended up with the condo we wanted!

During the closing process, and the weeks leading up to it, there was never a stressful moment. Linda was accessible and kept us at ease and informed every step of the way. If there was a glitch, Linda would solve the problem, and she would simply call to let us know everything was all set. She had answers before we even had questions! We felt that we could truly trust Linda and her judgment. Even at our closing, the sellers were not completely moved out of the home as promised, and Linda helped to guide us through a sticky situation; in the end we felt comfortable with the outcome due to Linda’s guidance. Even after closing, I felt comfortable calling Linda with last minute questions.

Linda went above and beyond and worked very hard for us. After telling family and friends about how amazing Linda was, they were also very impressed with the level of thoroughness and professionalism that she displayed. I know several people that will be looking for housing in Connecticut within the next year, and without hesitation they will contact Linda!
