Maxfield Lake in Hartland, Michigan is one of the finest lakes in Livingston County.  It is a private all sport lake with 90 acres in size.  There is no Public Beach or Public Access.   There are about 10 homes that sit across from the road on the east side of the lake. On the northeast and southeast ends of the lake the homes sit above the lake and require stairs to get to the waterfront. The south and east ends of the lake have paved roads, where as the west side of the lake is gravel roads.  The other lakes close together are Handy Lake, Long Lake, Round Lake, and Silver Lake.   Maxfield Lake in Hartland, Michigan have homes that  are under 2000 square feet..
