Lloyd Brings an International Flavor to New Mexico Real Estate
I was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, where I lived until I was 17 years old. I attended St Elizabeth Technical High School in Santa Cruz, St Elizabeth. I migrated to the United States in July 1979 and took up residency in Hartford, Connecticut. In September 1980, I enrolled in Fairfield University. Upon graduating in 1984, instead of returning back to Jamaica to pursue a career in politics as I had planned, I decided to join the US Armed forces. I served 20 years, 3 months and 5 days in the Air Force…and if I had to do it again, I would not change a thing! I have traveled all across the United States and the world. December 1, 2005, culminated most memorable chapter of my life…and just like that, I decided to transition into a Real Estate career. I started my first year with Coldwell Banker Brokerage, then move on to ALLSTAR REALTY, with which I am currently affiliated.
Two years into the business and I am at another crossroad. I have completed all the requirements to become a Qualifying Broker…Certainly, this is exciting! I can now start my own Real Estate firm at a time of my choosing. For those of you in other states who would like to hang your license in New Mexico...feel free to contact me.
I bring a great deal to the table: besides a wealth of technical and analytical skills, I bring leadership skills, work ethics, and core values that were instilled in me during my 20 year career in the Air Force…Integrity First, Service before self, and Excellence in all I do.
