Formerly, Dave was an executive vice president for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage's wholesale channel, and previous to that position was senior vice president of the Single family business at Freddie Mac.

Dave currently sits on the board of directors for the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and on the lenders advisory council for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). He was the founding executive sponsor of the Woman's Mortgage Industry Network, and coordinated the first Latino initiative joint venture with Freddie Mac and Latino mortgage industry leaders.

Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. was founded in May of 1968 in Fairfax, Virginia, by P. Wesley Foster, Jr. and Henry A. Long.  In July of 1979, Wes Foster became the sole owner of the company and subsequently grew the real estate brokerage to 238 offices and 16,000 real estate agents doing business in 7 states and the District of Columbia.  In addition to providing real estate services, Long & Foster launched a mortgage company, Prosperity Mortgage, which is a joint venture with Wells Fargo Home Mortage.  Long & Foster Insurance Agency was added in 1987, and as an independent insurance agency, they represent many different carriers providing home, auto, life, health and commercial lines.  Mid-States Title provides title insurance, and settlment services are provided through a network of local affiliated companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  Home Service Connections® was rolled out in 2003 as a referral network of movers and home related services providers for the convenience of Long & Foster clients and the general public.
