Who I am...

Hi. My name is Tana Plewes. I am the founder and CEO of the Discovery Center for Entrepreneurship, the creator of Possibility.ca and a certified Facilitator of Michael E. Gerber's latest innovation, The Dreaming Room™ (more about that later).

I facilitate processes and lead projects that help individuals, organizations and communities to rise above their current circumstances, create a new vision for the future, and implement that vision in reality - from the ground up.

My customers are quality-minded professionals at the leading edge of their field, entrepreneurs, artists, inventors and skilled craftsmen and women of all ages.

Our Discovery tools and processes resolve inner and outer conflicts, reduce stress, boost confidence, mitigate risk and shave months or even years off the implementation timeline so our clients can enjoy healthy profits and peace of mind.

In my *spare time*...lol...I am raising two children and completing a Master of Arts degree in Leadership at Royal Roads University on Vancouver Island. It's a fantastic program and a beautiful campus...for all you real estate buffs!

I give back to my community by serving as the community partner to the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (www.cybf.ca), a national charity that provides startup loans and mentoring to young people aged 18-34 wishing to start a business in Canada.  My Fraser Valley territory includes Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Hope, Langley, Maple Ridge and Mission. I am happy to round up a couple of young entrepreneur to make a presentation at your networking events. Their stories are so inspiring!

What I am most proud of are the thank you notes and emails I have received from friends, colleagues, young entrepreneurs and international students - people who have taken the time to let me know that I made a difference "outside of business hours" - that I contributed to them in some special way. These are the acknowledgements that make my heart sing. I hold these messages in my heart and keep them near me as I create in my lovely office.  These private words of gratitude nourish my soul.
