About Me:

I am a true native Floridian, born and raised in Plant City, the Winter Strawberry capital of the world, and moved to Tampa in 1993. I have watched the Tampa Bay market expand tremendously over the years and have lived and worked in New Tampa for over five years.

I attended the University of South Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a major in finance. I was a honor graduate, member of Phi Theta Kappa, and vice president of student government.

Currently involved with the New Tampa Noon Rotary as President, Plant City Chamber of Commerce member, Idlewild Baptist Church preschool volunteer, Junior Achievement, Metropolitan Ministries, and other worthwhile charitable organizations. I was honored to be selected as the "Exemplary Young Professional" for my Rotary club in February 2008.

I have wanted to purchase my first home for several years. However, the overwhelming process has intimidated me and kept me from pursuing my dream. Many realtors in the past offered their services to me. Consistently they fell short of making me feel confident and secure in their ability to guide me through this very important decision in my life. Due to this past experience, I was nervous about trusting another realtor.

However, Lori helped me through the process that initially seemed so painful and proved for it to be an exciting (painless) experience! She took the time to fully explain to me the process and set expectations. After a conversation with Lori, I was never questioning where to go next. She was able to address my needs before I needed to. At the same time, she communicated the steps to me in a clear, even pace, so that I was able to absorb the information she was offering.

The availability of a realtor is very important to me. In the past, I noticed once the clock hit 4:59 pm, realtors were never available! This was always frustrating to me since I got off of work at 5:00. And if I left them a message, it sometimes would take them days or weeks to call me back! This was not the case for Lori. I found whenever I needed to contact my realtor, she was available to me. This individual attention made me feel like I was her only customer!

In addition, an important trait to me in a realtor is feeling like you are being heard. I always felt like Lori listened to me when I would try to communicate to her what was important to me in finding my new home. I never felt like I was just part of the process. As well, I never felt like another customer. I felt like I was a family member or friend that she was trying to help pursue a dream!
