About Lindsay:

Well, to be honest, I always thought I was going to be a rock star. I had this magnificent plan of being on the road seven days a week, touring, signing autographs and what not. I started out small, nothing major, just your typical three year old singing in the shower. Hey, you got to start somewhere, right? Growing up, if there were ever a chance to drop a note, I dropped it hard. In my hometown, I was involved with anything and everything related to my favorite friend, Mr. Music. I joined the church choir, youth ensemble, and had my fair share of church plays, Christmas/Easter programs, oh yes, I even played hand bells. As I got older, I sang all the way through high school and ended up getting a scholarship to sing at college. You'll never guess what I was majoring in, Music. Remember? This was my plan...to be the rock star. I settled into my major, stayed busy with music practice, and started wondering when the tour was going to start. Umph. The more I quizzed my counselor about my major, the more I realized that there would be no tour. There was no 'rock star' major. It was a sad day in Lindsay Land, a b flat day. I realized that the only thing I could really do with a music major was teach and needless to say, God did not bless me with the teaching gene. I was at a place I had never been before, square one.

I mourned my impossible dream of fame and rock stardom but knew that there were other roads to take. To be honest, I took every single road less traveled until I came to a complacent, comfortable road that I am on now. Eventually (years later), I found myself back in college getting my major in Business. I had no idea I had a intense passion for marketing, and all things having to do with Business. I finally graduated top in my class and marched out of my college phase and into the adult world. Oh no.

So, what does one do after majoring in business? Good question. Well, while I was looking for clarity regarding my direction, a stork flew down from the sky and dropped off a little baby boy. Now, this was some serious business and no major in the world could have prepared me for this one. While trying to get in the groove of being a new mommy, I decided to start a baby, online clothing store. I named it, "Little Modern Me". Of course, I thought about calling it, "Wanna Be Rock Star". I found out pretty quickly that having a store was serious business and sometimes overwhelming. Besides marketing the clothes, my favorite part of it all was the interaction I had with clients. You know, I've always been an outgoing individual so forming relationships always came natural and I truly enjoyed it. As time passed, I seemed to be a little disappointed that I was working behind a computer screen and not face-to-face with clients. I took a step back, regrouped and shut her down.

Somehow, I made it into the school of real estate. I remember a good friend mentioning to me that I would be good at it and I thought I would just give it a try. I was in love. It was everything I imagined wrapped in a bow. Real Estate allowed me to do what I loved-  marketing, forming relationships and face-to-face contact with clients. The only dissasppointing thing about it was that I didn't get into it sooner. Of course, we all spend a good part of our lives searching for our purpose, searching for direction...I'm just glad I stumbled on it when I did, it was perfect timing and perfect for me.

Now, even though I am still in Real Estate, I have started working with a Property Management company that mostly deals with the leasing of homes. I have been employed with ONEprop for almost two years and even though it keeps me on my toes, I enjoy every second of it. I have been blessed with a wonderful job, awesome relationships, a beautiful son, a barking dog and a partridge in a pear tree.

I am a very passionate person. I have a beautiful son named Cooper. I have a fluffy, little dog who I call Shyann. As you know, I have an extreme love for music and the arts. I enjoy making people laugh, spending time with my family and house hunting. If you are looking for a real estate professional to guide you through the buying or selling process, I would more be than honored to help you.
