Luxury Home Magazine History | Timeline

Luxury Home Magazine began in Portland, Oregon in 2002 to serve the needs of real estate agents looking for a new and innovative way to promote their listings and services to the local luxury homeowner marketplace. Luxury Home Magazine's unique design, exceptional photography of incredible homes and targeted distribution methods, quickly established the publication as the advertising method of choice for top producing agents. In an effort to further distinguish the publication, Luxury Home Magazine upgraded to a larger page size in 2004 and earned the name "The Coffee Table Magazine."

In 2005, after establishing a proven track record of results in Portland, Luxury Home Magazine opened its second magazine in Sacramento, California. Sacramento also became the location of the new corporate headquarters for Luxury Home Magazine and Sunshine Publications Inc. With the successful Sacramento & Portland publications in place, Luxury Home Magazine began to spread nationwide in 2006 through enterprising and entrepreneurial minded individuals seeking the opportunity to publish the magazine in various markets across the country. These distributorships have fueled the growth of Luxury Home Magazine, and allowed us to become the leader in the market specific presentation of luxury homes and the luxury lifestyle.

The strong growth of our organization has allowed us the ability to stay connected to each local market while also establishing us as a nationally recognized brand. This powerful resource for realtors and publishers has allowed some of the brightest people in both industries the ability to collaborate on many new and exciting projects.
