Description
I am a REALTOR who loves what I do and my expertise centers around South Brevard County FL which is on the east coast just about halfway down the coast.

Maggie tells all:

As a Realtor®, with both a MA license and a FL license, I enjoy many customers from both the north as well as south Florida and even International buyers!  I taught high school law for many years before becoming a Realtor® and now everything I worked for has pulled together to help me do the best job I can for customers looking to buy homes or sell their homes.

I am always looking for referrals and I accept referrals and forward referrals--whatever it takes to make the best in our slow market.  I have people who are looking to move away from Florida, but just as many wanting to move in!

Honestly, I think sales are picking up here!  Call me crazy, but over the last several weekends, I've actually attempted setting up showings only to be called back to say they went under agreement!  Imagine that.  Well, we all know that history repeats itself and although the Florida market got hit really hard, we have so many great homes that can be purchased for under $200,000, some brand new for close to $100,000!  So, if any of you agents out there have customers who are just dying to get out of the cold, icy and gray areas, give me a call.  . What I thrive on!

Areas of Expertise

Many of my customers come from MA, NJ, CT, OH, VA and DE and I specialize in finding homes for first time home buyers as well as customers who sold their home up north and want to live in the warm weather--enough of the ice and snow!

I belong to both Indian River County and Brevard County MLS so I have information available to me that covers over 150 miles.  Of course I don't do that on a daily basis, but would if I had to.  So if Vero Beach is where you want to be, then that's where I go and if Melbourne, Palm Bay or the central part of Brevard County is your cup of tea, there is plenty available there also.  And, downtown Melbourne has become just the most artsy area with terrific cafes and shops.  It reminds me of some of the small towns on Cape Cod, which is the last place I called home.

I live now in an area called Grant-Valkaria which is one of the few places that offers beautiful estate style homes on acre+ lots in a serene and natural setting, but close enough to get to everything needed.  It is a well kept secret for those of us who live here, but we always welcome newcomers because we know they will just love it here.  We have the annual Grant Seafood Festival which draws hundreds if not thousands--that is held every February and then we also have the annual BBQ Fest which is coming up sometime in October.  Plus, we are a hop, skip and a jump to the Indian River, Sebastian River Inlet and tons of boat ramps, marinas and even a world reknowned restaurant called Ozzie's Crab House where the floor is laden with peanut shells and you can eat seafood until it comes out your ears!  Updating Ozzie's, they unfortunately were hit with a fire that has left them closed, but expect to reopen.  Hard to imagine Ozzie's not open!  An update on Ozzie's Crab House.  Their new location, not open yet, is still on US 1, but a little further north on the river. Then we also have several upscale restaurants such as The Chart House on the river, The Yellow Dog Cafe which is a culinary treat, extremely well-prepared and tasty food and The Shack which serves delicious American style food right on the river.  Oh, don't forget if you come here, to stop at the Grant General Store for some goodies and maybe even take a tour of our really old, only tiny little cemetery, for those who like that kind of stuff.  I find it interesting just reading the old monuments.  Home Sweet Home!

Testimonials

I do have testimonials, but the way I look at them is the same way I looked at my students.  I always like to be evaluated on who I am and how I interact with each individual situation.  As we all know, we interact differently with different people.  Sometimes we really click with our customers and that makes the business just wonderful and other times we don't click as tightly.  No matter, I am always professional, honest and go the extra "smile" to help my customers come out of their experience with smiles on their faces and final words of "We loved working with you and see you soon Maggie".  I just love it!  I'll let my pup speak for me. . .His name is Poochie and he's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - 3 y.o. Here he is with his "bud" as babes in the woods Poochie is on the right!! MY MOM IS THE BEST REALTOR EVER!!
