We have three daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandsons. I was a stay at home mom until my children were in school. I was a pre-school teacher at our church for nine years, and worked in the public schools as a substitute teacher for children with special needs for two years. I enjoy sports, and my husband and I have played on our church co-ed softball team for the past ten years. I also love to work out in our local fitness center.

My husband was a Naval officer for twenty-nine years, so I can definitely relate to the military family. We were transfered every two years, and I know the struggles of trying to sell your home quickly or trying to find the right home in a new area. I am also very familiar with the Virginia Beach area. We have lived here for eighteen years and it is our favorite duty station! In fact, my husband just recently retired and we decided to stay in this area. I am also very familiar with the schools having two daughters that graduated from Virginia Beach schools.
