The ups and downs of the housing market, real estate, and mortgages in general, have been in the headlines for several years now. We all enjoyed the upswing in 2004-2006, and have cringed over the last two years watching the slide. Some major banks are going belly-up and mortgage guidelines are being tightened to a point where even the most creditworthy borrowers are being made to jump through hoops. Brokers and banks seem to be working against the homeowner and the realtor in this market.
Benchmark Mortgage Group is doing things differently than most lenders. Our primary goal is to educate our clients. - We're a local, direct lender with in-house underwriting/processing. We're not brokers.
