When I walk through a home with a potential buyer I let them browse without jabbering at their elbow every minute. They can relax and notice if the morning sun will be in the kitchen, if they forget to pull a blind will they be the highlight of their neighbors evening when they take a shower, is there a sink in the laundry room to wash the dog. IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT.
When I list a home if the dining room chandlier is not included in the sale I put it in the disclosures but mention OFTEN that who ever puts a contract on the house will probably not be able to enjoy the dining room without this particular chandlier. Take it down befor it becomes the deal breaker, what can go wrong usually does. IT IS THE LITTLE THINGS THAT COUNT.
Always trying to smooth out a bump before it becomes a problem, thinking what if, what if? The little word "A" has saved or lost more than one contract. I pride myself on clients enjoying the transition of buying or selling a home. Having the packing and unpacking to be the only low point of the move.
