I have been in the real estate/housing industry for more than 20 years in one form or another. Starting with a commercial building firm while attending college (Kornwasser & Associates in Southern California); from there I studied residential real estate with Better Homes and Gardens; Lumbleau Real Estate School and in college. I was employed in the emergency housing industry in the not-for -profit sector from 1979 to 2005 where I held a variety of positions from being Executive Director of Domestic Violence shelters to facilitating individual and group counseling; State and Federal Grant writing and fund development, Assisting the USMC in writing protocol and doing various trainings with the USMC and Law Enforcement; Acting as General Contractor for Commercial Building Projects, during this time period I also worked with investing & investors in the for profit arena.
I have moved over 30 times in my life, I know what it means to relocate your family for various reasons due to employment, school, military or just moving to better your surroundings. I am originally from Greenwich Village New York but consider Burbank, California where I grew up, my hometown. I moved to Tennessee in 2007 and immediately took my real estate exam. I am proud to call Middle Tennessee home.
I am a member of the Clarksville Association of Realtors; the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. It pays to work with a REALTOR.® Only real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of REALTORS® can call themselves REALTORS.® All REALTORS® adhere to NAR's strict code of ethics, which is based on professionalism and protection of the public, That's why all real estate licensees are NOT the same.
