“I highly recommend Marty Gale as a Realtor in the Salt Lake region of Utah. I am from out of state (California) and I was looking for a home for my son while attending school in Salt Lake. I am a believer of finding the most successful business people I can find, interviewing them, and then hiring them. In the case of real estate this is especially true. A Realtor must be able listen to my needs, find exceptional properties, not waste my time with junk (especially when I am from out of town), be a great negotiator, line up services that I can trust, and have the deal close on a timely basis (this is the failing of so many Realtors). I have learned in the past that usually the most successful Realtors have these traits, but not all of them are for me. 

What made this instance more interesting was that my local very successful Realtor initially lined me up with a Realtor in Salt Lake. Since my son lives in Salt Lake, has great business savvy, and would help narrow the some choices we met this Realtor and her daughter for a beverage. Immediately the successful Realtor pushed us to work with her daughter. My son and I were put off and ended the relationship. Next I let the web do the work for me. I found the names of the most successful Realtors in Salt Lake. Quickly through phone interviews I narrowed the number down to two. I had the two lined up to meet with my son so he could pick one. The first Realtor sent a subordinate to meet my son. What gall! When I asked why he said that he was much too busy to show homes so his assistant would do it. Well I guess he was more important than my son and I. That ended that relationship immediately (what is it with Realtors and their underlings?). On the other hand Marty came in person, knew the market we were interested in, and quickly helped us narrow homes. 

Since I was in unfamiliar territory I needed to line up financing and home inspection services. Marty lined up several financing choices and home inspection organizations for me to in interview. I was not disappointed with my choices and everyone one deserves a recommendation. The home inspector I selected examined our first offer and found so many expensive issues we discontinued that deal. The mortgage broker got us a phenomenal deal and worked his way through the ridiculous financing obligations now required to close the house in a timely fashion. Marty and his team really brought this out of state deal to a happy ending. 

If you are looking for a friendly, yet hard charging Realtor how really knows his stuff I highly recommend Marty. His contacts, team work, negotiation skills, and attention to detail are exceptional. Buying or selling a house in this market will be left to the real professionals. My suggestion is hire Marty.” October 6, 2010
