Marylee is an Equine Real Estate Specialist and Director of Northwood Realty Services' Equine Division. She is a certified ERES teacher and trainer. In her real estate career she established the first Equine Division of a real estate company in Western PA and Eastern Ohio. She was key in the authoring of the ERES course as well as the certification's first teacher/trainer. After 5 years of intense lobbying to grab the attention of leadership of Northwood Realty Services she was named head of the Equine Division, the first in the state of PA. The division serves 12 counties in Western PA and Eastern Ohio and plans are in place to expand to West Virginia and Virginia in the next year. Marylee is a teamleader and a teambuilder.
In her time as an equine real estate specialist she founded one of the nation's premiere horse property websites, www.wesellhorsefarms.com. The site's popularity brought sellers from around the nation looking for equestrian property marketing guidance. Her philosophy of seeing a need and filling it, gave birth to eREM, an equestrian property marketing firm. As president of eREM she guides the daily efforts of her marketing team. In the year 2006 Marylee witnessed the interest and influx of thoroughbred breeders into PA to take advantage of one of the nation's best thoroughbred breeders programs. Marylee realized that few properties fit the needs of thoroughbred or standardbred farmer. From that arose her company, Oak Hill Farm Development. Oak Hill secures ideal land and custom builds horse properties to the specs of the breeder. Marylee is the Vice President of Oak Hill.
Marylee is also one of the founding members of Gazooba Travel. Gazooba is involved in the business of fun. Her involvement in this international company has given her a broader view of the equine world and equestrian travel.
