A Very Few Words About Me

I am the oldest daughter of eight children...which means that I can take good care of people. I grew up in La Mesa and truly love what I do! Family is very important to me. We actually are a family of real estate agents! All four of the girls are now working in the real estate field and our father and his mother were both real estate agents.  I believe that owning a home gives a family a lot more stability. Children can put down roots and not be jostled about at the whim of a landlord. I have always been grateful that my family has always lived in homes that our parents owned.

 

 

Areas of Expertise

I began my real estate career in 1985 and sold real estate with Coldwell Banker for eight years. I was always good at the numbers and writing contracts. Many of the agents that I worked with would ask for me to watch their business when they were away on vacation.

In 1993, I moved over to the mortgage side. I really enjoy working the numbers and making the scenario work for what my clients have in mind.

I am excellent with 1st time homebuyers because I have the ability and patience to explain the process so that they feel good about their decisions. I am especially skilled at interviewing my clients so that we have specific goals to work toward.

I am very, very good with the more experienced and sophisticated borrowers/buyers because I am well versed in the tax benefits of homeownership, complex situations, and how all of the real estate phases fit together. I have impressed many attorneys and CPA's with my ability to handle complicated situations.

I am really good with clients who have a lot of questions and want to understand the process. I can also just cut to the chase and get the job done. I have been described as having a Magic Wand. (I do)

I am very good with "credit challenged" borrowers. I have also written a book to teach people how to repair their credit and how to best protect themselves from identity theft.

I consider myself to be a humble person. Having said that, I am really good at what I do.
