About Us:

A serial entrepreneur I co-founded ActiveRain in early 2003 along with Jonathan Washburn and James Hillyerd. During the next five years I filled many roles at ActiveRain including operating as the CEO/President when I oversaw the conception, development and launch of ActiveRain's social networking platform. In Aug. of 2008 I left ActiveRain to found a new start-up outside of the real estate industry, Timu Sports, and have since launched BigStartups.com

When I'm not sitting in front of a computer or dreaming up new businesses and products I'm usually involved with my main hobby Paleontology. I spend most of my vacations out in the middle of no where (Utah, Nevada, Oklahoma, BC) collecting trilobite fossils and spend much of my free time at home under microscope preparing them. So if there is one thing that you can get me going on in a conversation more than real estate technology, it's trilobites.
