Key Realty Group LLC

I opened Key Realty Group LLC one year ago in June 2007. I opened our doors with 30 agents- both full time and part time agents. Our model is the wave of the future for real estate entrepreneurs -- those real estate business people who are set up at home with a fully equipped office, who want to be their own brand, who do all of their own marketing, website development and advertising. They have vision. They are working from a business plan and they seek growth opportunties in training, technology and networking. They are professional and highly ethical.

Key Realty rewards these entrepreneurs by allowing them to keep 100% of the commissions they earn. Key Realty provides these business people with a beautiful "home base" with conference rooms, training room and great administrative support. The broker is always available to strategize with the agents, as well as to plan mastermind sessions so agents from many companies can gather and discuss key business issues of the day. There are no administrative fees, no transaction fees, no marketing costs. There are no JV or ABA relationships. Agents are free to choose their own business partners. Company E&O insurance is billed at $15/month, so no large upfront payment is necessary.

Why Key Realty Group ??

I became a real estate manager in 2003. My job was to recruit and to train real estate agents, which I did very successfully and which I enjoyed tremendously. It was very gratifiying to see business-minded people enter the real estate arena and take off with their businesses. I found that certain qualities were part of the makeup of those successful entrepreneurs. They were independent-minded. The knew how to use technology to their advantage. They were learning-based and always looking for new ideas to help their business grow. They preferred working from a fully-equipped home office. They created their own brand and marketing- rarely using the company-provided sales tools. In addition to company training, they sought out the experts in real estate and paid to get top notch training. They definitely liked "doing their own thing" to create their image in the marketplace. They did not make use of broker office, broker marketing, broker image...it was about them and their brand and reputation.

When I decided to open my own brokerage, it was specifically for these agents- the business people who know that THEY are the brand, not the broker. And I decided to let them be the brand and keep their commission to build their businesses. I create training opportunities for them, and provide them with a home office for meeting clients, holding settlements and having sales meetings. Other than that, they are running their own businesses and keeping their money to continue to grow. This is where real estate is heading for the sharp real estate entrepreneurs and we are ready for them.
