My positive professional attitude along with my business experience, high energy, commitment to customer service and my knowledge of the local area will enable me to provide you with the best service possible.
Prior to entering the real estate profession, I worked in the engineering field. I am a life long resident of the area and currently resides in Newtown. I am not only an active participant in the community but also a member of the PTA and volunteer my time and talents to the Canine Advocates, Faith Food Pantry, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society-Relay for Life, The Sunshine Kids organization and Toys for Tots.
Internet marketing is my nitch, I have accomplished E-Pro Certification with Northern Associated Realtors (NAR) and E-Certification through Prudential Connecticut Realty. How does this benefit you? I am writing this to inform you how pleased we were with the service that our realtor, Mandy Beckett out of the Newtown, CT office provided to us while our home was on the market.
We were in a very unfortunate situation, in that we were living in North Carolina while our home in Sandy Hook was on the market. We listed with Mandy in February after the home had been on the market with another agency in town. We were faced with the cold, snowy Newtown winter, and a home that was vacant. Mandy put our minds at ease by assuring us that she would check on the house often. We hired a plowing company, and Mandy monitored that for us. Her sons and her husband even shoveled the walk as needed. This was definitely above and beyond the call of duty. The house survived the winter, and so did we, thanks to Mandy!
There were many other instances where we needed to have someone at the house to let in electricians, painters, etc. Mandy was always willing to be there for us as needed. She was willing to adjust her schedule for us with little notice in many cases.
As you know, the housing market was horrible. There were many times that I would call Mandy in tears! She was always very positive, and assured me repeatedly that we would sell the house, and things would all work out. Her positive attitude helped us get through the most stressful time of our lives.
Mandy worked tirelessly during the whole process. She never gave up! We know a lot of realtors who gave up during this down market, but instead, Mandy worked even harder. Her hard work, and positive attitude definitely has paid off for her. She has had numerous closings and many new listings lately. In our minds, no one deserves it more! Our house sold on August 26th after a year on the market! We are now able to move on with our lives here in Raleigh.
