About Us:

Mary Blanchard (formerly McDonald), Broker, CRS, E-Pro, ABR, ASP Realtor and owner of Re-Creating Interiors, a Cary, IL (McHenry County in Chicago's northwest suburbs) professional staging and redesign company, has been actively preparing homes for the northwest Chicago market for years. Her sales, negotiating, presentation and organizational skills have resulted in numerous awards since the early 1980's. Having successfully served in roles as training manager, sales professional and performance coach, Mary applies her unique skills to finding or presenting your home to the real estate market. Through her enthusiasm and attention to her clients' interests as well as the support of The Mary Opfer Team, her award winning real estate team, her clients enjoy the process of making the move!  Mary is a proud member of the McHenry County Association of Realtors, the IAR, NAR, the Employee Relocation Council and REBAC, the Real Estate Buyers Agency Council.  For information on Illinois properties for sale, for house values in Cary, Crystal Lake and Lake in the Hills, Huntley, Algonquin and the surrounding areas visit http://www.buycaryareahomes.com

As an ASPTM Realtor® and I.R.I.S. certified redesigner/stager, Mary understands and respects the immense value of home staging. She has been personally trained by the inventor of Home Staging, Barb Schwarz and has received additional certification by IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) to redesign and stage homes. Your home only has one chance to make that important first impression. When we trade in our cars we detail them first. Our homes are likely our largest investment and deserve the same attention before they are presented to the market.  Mary is a proud member of the International association of home staging professionals, (stagedhomes.com) interior redesign directory, IRIS, interior redesign industry specialists, and the society of decorating professionals.  For more information on home staging visit either http://www.buycaryareahomes.com or http://www.recreatinginteriors.com

Testimonials

Thank you so much for all you have done for us.  We couldn't have asked for a better realtor.  You really stuck with us through all the frustration (bank owned property offer).  You were very helpful through our first home buying process.  We really appreciate it.  We love our new home!  N and E.

Mary, I really appreciated how attentive you were to our needs during the transition of packing, accommodating home inspectors, etc.  You showed that you cared about us and that was very appreciated.  Your positive outlook and hands-on staging of our home really help make showing our home much less stressful!   J.F.

Thanks for sending the listings. You have put in a lot of thought and effort into working with us. As soon as we are ready to make the move, we will contact you!    You have earned our respect. Thanks for your time. S.T.

Thank you for your quiet and unobtrusive style. You are so good at what you do and make doing business with you such a joy!  Thank you very much!!  J.P.

Thanks again for everything Mary. I never knew how much added value there was going to be having your represent the sale of my home. You have been very helpful organizing all of the painting, plowing and what have you.  B.H.

Our situation has changed and we need to put our home search on hold. Thank you so much for your help. Please stay in touch. We enjoy your professionalism very much.  Sincerely,  R.K.

Mary, you went over and above by providing service even after the closings. You were great and I will recommend you highly!  R.P.

The part of the real estate process that was most impressive was all the time you spent with us and helping us make our final selection. Your flexibility with our scheduling and your insight about the purchase process was most appreciated! Thank you for all your help! We love our home!  T.G. & C.G.

I felt very informed throughout the process of selling my home and finding a new home. You kept me updated throughout and were always prompt in returning my calls. Your "moving utilities checklist" idea will be very helpful!  N.B.
