As a builder, renovator, instructor in renovation , columnist on Interior and Landscape design and now a Canadian Staging Professional (TM) I will use all my experience to dress your property for the best sale possible in the current market. You rarely can change that first impression so home owners and Realtors stage the property before you list.
Before staging , one client's home was given a sale price of $350,000 after painting, replacing flooring in entrance and kitchen, moving rooms back to original uses and updating the landscaping and of course staging the whole house , it was listed at $389,000. Investment in retaining her equity $4000.00. Not a bad investment for a $39,000 equity boost.

I had the opportunity of working with Marilynn for the staging of my house in preparation for putting it on the market late autumn 2006.
She assessed what I needed to do to neutralize my dark burgundy kitchen, dark brown hallway and bright coloured foyer. She chose a warm cream colour (BM Wyndom Creme) for the kitchen, hallway and foyer. This now has a better flow of colours co-ordinating the rest of the house. She helped me choose flooring for the kitchen and foyer. The home was showcased - moving furniture and pictures to best show the space.
