About Me:
I grew up between Bellevue and Ginter Park in the City, and Ashland, Rockville, and Montpelier in Hanover County. I attended high school in the River Road corridor, went to the University of Virginia for my undergraduate degree, and received my law degree from the University of Richmond's School of Law. I have lived in the Historic Fan District since 1994.
Areas of Expertise
I am a Richmond native, and I specialize in the older areas of the City, as well as the near West End. I have been selling real estate since Spring 2006. My real estate practice is a split between the typical residential sales, representing both buyers and sellers, and working with investors who do high-end renovations of historic property for resale. My corporate background and legal experience are helpful with my investor clients, many of whom use the Virginia Department of Historic Preservation's Tax Credit program for their renovations. Additionally, my understanding of Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges has been a helpful component of my investment practice.
I find real estate to be very personally rewarding, and I particularly enjoy introducing new people to the wonderful old areas of the City of Richmond, or being a part of bringing a tired old building back to its original glory.
