Dear Flagstarr Bank,
I recently took a mortgage out with Flagstarr Bank and want to let you know about my experience. I applied through Lending Tree and had several lenders reply back. All of the lenders except Flagstarr were extremely aggressive and didn't follow through with what they said. Frank was upfront and direct about the mortgage. He was in touch while he was in the hospital and worked hard to make sure the loan came through to the point of extending the interest rate a few more days. Amy did a lot of work on the mortgage and took over for Frank when he was out ill. She was very professional and ultimately made this loan happen. My loan was slightly different as it was a family transaction, involved a trust, an outstanding home equity loan and other paperwork above and beyond a normal mortgage transaction. Amy worked with the lawyers and helped us sift through some issues with Chase Bank. Amy is truly an asset to Flagstarr, and made a difficult situation much easier to deal with.

Dear Mr. Hillman:
I wanted to email you regarding my recent mortgage approval with
Flagstar Bank. I had received an email that I would be getting a
survey, but I have not seen anything yet and wanted to make sure I gave
someone feedback about my experience. I started my experience with
Flagstar in January and was given Joe Paoly as my representative. I
cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful experience I have had
with Joe.
I have been in customer service for a better part of my life and can say
that I don't recall coming across someone like Joe. This was my first
experience buying a home and Joe was literally my backbone through the
entire process. I am a single mother and did not have a good
understanding of the process but Joe always took the time to explain
things to me and make sure I was comfortable. He went above and beyond
his role for me and that is an understatement. I wont get in to a lot of
long detail, but after getting my conditional approval from Flagstar, I
was having difficulty with realtors here in my area... Joe was there
every single step of the way. If I called Joe late at night or on the
weekend, I always was immediately returned a call. Joe got me in touch
with realtors and made sure I was taken care of.
I have told at least 20 people about my experience with Joe and
therefore Flagstar. I cannot thank him enough for everything he did for
me. I hope that you will pass this along to Joe's manager so that
he/she can hear what a wonderful person they having working for
Flagstar. I will forever be grateful to Joe. My son and I can now
enjoy a beautiful home that I never thought I would be able to. I
sincerely will be forever loyal to Joe Paoly and will make sure everyone
I know hears about him.

Andrew Halladay provided the service for my loan with

My name is Charles Ledford and I just wanted to send you both a brief overview of my recent experience with your company. I sent a loan request through Lending tree just over a month ago. Within a day I had two major responses, one from my current mortgage company and one from Frank Maletta with Flagstar. I responded to both and waited. Frank promptly returned my response and I have yet to hear from my "old" mortgage company. Over the next day or so we talked and emailed quite a bit about what would be the best way to handle my current situation.
I had been given a high rate 2-3 years ago due to some credit issues we had in the past. But my wife and I had worked hard to recover from that and not look back. Frank was able to drop our rate by 3.25 %, a life changing amount. We were able to consolidate ALL of our current debt, and still keep our payments roughtly unchanged. We look to save between $800 to $1000 a MONTH!!
My intent of this email is simple, I just wanted to say a huge "Thank you" to Frank again and let someone know how much of a pleasure it was to work with him. I have worked with 3-4 other mortgage/lending companies in the past 10 or so years, and this was by far the best experience I have had. The process was smooth and painless. He was very easy to talk to and never talked down to me when I asked a question that may have been "not the brightest"! I have been in customer service in one form or another for the last 15 years and I was honestly impressed. That doesn't happen often these days unfortunately.
Anyway, I just hope that I can pass on my experience to as many people as possible. So many are quick to complain, whether it be bad food, bad products or bad lip service, but so few are quick to complement. I hope that changes one day.
