About Kristina
Kristina McBurney is a consultant Realtor who specializes in Sacramento's central neighborhoods including commercial and mixed used development. With a focus on Environmental Studies and a minor in California Studies, Kristina came to Sacramento in 1994 while attending California State University Sacramento. Her activities in the Capitol City include; California Energy Commission, Alternative Fuels Department, Methanol Fueling Infrastructure; County of Sacramento Public Works, Team Building administration; City of Sacramento, Minority and Women Business Development / Office of Small Business Development transition.
Prior to entering Real Estate Kristina successfully coordinated the Best of Sacramento Party and WalkAmerica for the March of Dimes. She is past Chair of the Winn Park Capitol Avenue Neighborhood Association, Stakeholder in the South Midtown Area Revitalization & Transportation Plan, and current Development Oversight Commissioner for the City of Sacramento. A Midtown resident, Kristina is currently writing a film documentary on California's car oriented development, enjoys gardening in Fremont Community Garden, and a frequent bicyclist.
